![]() Once Konstance discovers where the crew embarked from, she learns that the Argos never took off at all, and the crew had just been surviving on this tiny part of the planet earth. You find out about that whole hiding in an incredibly satisfying end-story for Seymour. Closely reading exactly what Konstance does throughout the last third of the book shows you that she finds a special trigger that opens up the real world that the atlas was made to hide. Konstance finds out via the Atlas where the Argos took off, and she was able to find out via the library exactly the training, quarantine, and sedation needed for the crew to be boarded to the flight. I'm actually going to make a bunch of space here so you can go back and listen to the book if you wish, because what I'm going to tell you is a lot!! ![]() ![]() The experiment was never abandoned but it was incredibly different than what the crew had been told. There is a mention of a body hunched up and covered with mold after over a year since the illness. ![]()
